Awards And Incentive Programs

Maisie Townend Scholarship Award:

This award is available for registered nurses who wish to further their education as related to the practice of nursing. Two scholarships in the amount of $500.00 each are available for full or part-time study. Awards will be made on the condition that the recipient submits proof of enrolment in the programme, maintains membership in CINA and provides CINA with documentation on successful completion of the course.

Johnson & Johnson Medical Products Editorial Award:

Johnson & Johnson offers a $1,000.00 editorial award. This award is open to nurses residing in Canada and writing about intravenous nursing practice, management or research. The article must be original and previously unpublished.

Poster Presentations

The presenter of the poster judged to be number one, will receive a $250.00 award from CINA. A second prize of $150.00 and a third prize of $75.00 is also available.

Certification Award:

This award is given to the person attaining the highest mark on the CINA written examination. A plaque and $100.00 is presented.
