Therapy: Advanced Specialty
this course is designed for RN's with a sound background in I.V.
Therapy. It is an intensive theory course that will allow the
nurse in a specialty area (ie., ICU, CCU, emergency, medical/surgical,
palliative care) to expand knowledge and skills in specialty IV
therapy. Topics include various delivery systems, TPN, chemotherapy,
shock and shock management, blood and blood component therapy
and central lines. Course Code: CEHS 913 Offered in the Fall and
Winter. Certificate: A certificate of completion will be issued
on completion of Basic IV Therapy: Review and Update (CEHS 907)
and IV Therapy: Advanced Specialty (CEHS 913) More information
